This wiki is intended to be a repository of information, documentation and help concerning the various technology systems supported and provided by the facilities group of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Carnegie Mellon University.

The primary purpose is to be a convenient place for the ECE Community to store information and documentation about how things work, here at ECE - the little nuggets of information about how to get the most from your technology resources

  2. Backup, prepare for hardware failure and user error.
  3. Hardware, has it lost its magic smoke, yet?
  4. Macintosh, for information about Apple's OS and compatible applications.
  5. Mail/News, for information about the mail systems.

  8. Policy, for non-technical rules about technical systems.

  10. Web, information relating to the ECE Dept. website.
