The Engineering Design and Decision Laboratory is part of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Research topics include design with uncertainty, product platform design, the use of choice models in engineering design, and rehabilitation engineering and universal design (with a particular emphasis on exercise equipment, in collaboration with the RERC RecTech at UIC).
