This is a modular design that allows the user to swap out the capsules and change between cardioid and omnidirectional recording. The user physically removes the capsule at the head of the microphone and replaces it with another capsule to switch recording styles. There are also settings to roll off frequencies to remove noise. This is a good start but the number of options for replacement are limited to just two.
