In his master thesis, he developed an efficient design optimization framework for RF and optical applications and applied the framework on design of broad band patch antennas and plasmonic nano-antennas. He integrated metamodeling tools such as artificial neural networks, radial basis functions and kriging with global optimizers(GAs) to speed up the re-anaylsis of electromagnetic systems.
